I'm the admin for my company's business dropbox and I have an employee's computer that just refuses to allow the context menu to show up. I've reinstalled about 5 times already, gone through the advanced install, installed as a local admin, checked firewall settings, and I am still at a loss as to why this employee's computer is still not showing the context menu.
The PC is running Windows 7 Professional and I have installed the latest version of dropbox. SmartSync is enabled both on the admin side and the local app side. I've been crusing the forums for most of today and I am just at a loss.
Any help as to what I should try next would be appreciated.

Hey there @kleeser - sorry to hear about this.
Could you please let me know what the app states at the moment? Is it syncing or showing "up to date" ? I am only asking since I wasn't able to see our desktop app's icon within the screenshot you already provided.
Let me know what you find and we'll take it from there. Thanks!

Thanks for the speedy response @kleeser!
If you've also restarted your computer ( a hard reboot might be preferrable in this case) I would suggest taking this to email so I can have a look internally with all of our tools available.
Just note that this issue may be related to other applications on that computer that use the icon overlay and context menu functionality of your Operating System.
Also note that Windows has a limit of 15 overlay icons that Windows Explorer can load, and the operating system reserves 4 for its own use. If there are more than 15, then Dropbox's icons or context menus may not show.
Information on how to check the number of icons and steps on how to resolve this issue can be found in the following Help Center article:

Please let me know if this helped!

Walter, I acually tried this too and and the dropbox registry keys aren't even there...? I'm at a loss.
That's interesting @kleeser - thanks for the update!
Could you try a clean advanced re-install and let me know how it goes?
If this issue persists, do let me know so I can reach out to the email address you use for your forum's profile so we can work on this together internally with all of my tools available.
Thanks!

@WalterThat was actually the last thing I tried before posting here in the forums. Go ahead and shoot me an email when you are able.
Thank you!

Has this since been resolved? I have the same issue and just posted a new thread as well.
Thanks.
