Wrong date format on new Desktop app eg. 9/27/19 but my settings on .com and laptop are eg.27/9/19. How to align?

Hello Bill; how are you today?

This should be easy enough to correct. Just go to your account's settings page and change your 'Date Format' to your desired one: https://www.dropbox.com/account 

The date format on your computer is handled by its OS so I'd suggest searching the web for a way to do this - depending on the operating system your computer is on that is.

Thanks, Walter.

The problem is the correct date format (DD/MM/YYYY) is shown on my dropbox.com settings - and my PC .

In the new Dropbox desktop App it shows as (MM/DD/YYYY) like this

Would it be OK if I sent you an email to your Dropbox associated address so we can have a further look into this?

I'm only asking as I was just able to re-pro on a Windows machine here on my end and I would like to bring this under the attention of our experts.

Is there a solution to this problem please? I am finding it impossible to work effectively because my all my settings are set to show the correct date - English UK - and have never been changed. When I go into the Desktop UI everything is showing with a US format which is totally alient to me and is very confusing.

Hi @Walter,

I can reproduce this on Mac as well (MacOS 10.14.6, Dropbox v82.4.155). Dropbox.com set to DD/MM/YYYY, MacOS set to DD/MM/YYYY but Dropbox Desktop app showing MM/DD/YYYY (also Dropbox.com shows 24-hour time, MacOS is set to 24-hour time, but Dropbox Desktop app shows 12-hour time)
