Since there was no Dropbox option under Program Files, I started Dropbox by entering %APPDATA%\Dropbox into the Windows Explorer window and double clicking Dropbox.exe
At the moment, it seems ok.

The first time this came out, I simply decided to uninstall and reinstall dropbox again. However, the installation can not be completed as the Couldn't Start Dropbox error appears near the installation end. I already tried administrator mode and it did not work as well.

I also could not start Dropbox today.
I am at my office and everyday I start Dropbox (Windows 7 machine). I don't have the automatically open when computer starts option.
Today I could not find the programme! It is not in my Program Files also!
But it exists in the Control Panel and it seems that software was installed yesterday!!
Please let me know how I can solve this!!!!!!!!!
Hello cpavloud
It sounds like you have an anti-virus running that is blocking Dropbox and even perhaps deleting the client. Might try reinstalling it and perhaps check your antivirus software to see if its the culprit. Also, check the article I linked to in the post above yours.
Hopes this helps. And let us know how it went

I only have Microsoft Security Essentials as an antivirus and it doesn't seem to block anything.
I checked the article you had linked to the post above.
