Same problem on my Linux box - got the notification that only ext4 disks were to be the only option going forward, but I was on ext4 all along. Now Dropbox can't start. Purging, uninstalling etc doesn't fix it.

Hey there (@Bonobus ), just to make sure I’m following-up on the right thing, could you let me know whether you’ve stored the Dropbox folder in a Virtual Box? (Note: If so, then it would be worth noting that it isn’t currently a supported configuration however I’d like to look into that a bit closer & see if there’s anything that could be of assistance to you.) Additionally, is there any chance that you tried un-installing referencing the steps outlined here

From there, as you’ve mentioned that this has arised recently on your current setup, I’m wondering if there has been a significant change. Could you elaborate a bit on that your system specifications & let me know whether you used to control the Dropbox desktop app with the Linux Command Line Interface?

Once I have this info, I’ll try to address your initial inquiry in a bit more depth. Thanks in advance for the time you’re devoting on this!
