I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and restarted my computer but I cannot for some reason get the Desktop App to actually open. Dropbox is installed and syncing everything, when I double click the icon it just takes me to a file explorer - I cannot access the actual App Interface to navigate. I have Smart Sync etc. enabled and gone through the tutorials - why isn't the App Loading at all?

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? It seems that EVERYBODY addressing this issue are offering solutions that require the app to open outside of Explorer in order to access the settings. Wow! I have the same problem. Please help because Dropbox technical support is garbage!
The solution that you were offering requires the Dropbox icon to open in as the Application and not in an Explorer folder. With the application only opening in an Explorer folder, there is no option to click on my Avatar (in the top right) to access the settings because Dropbox does not open in the application that offers that option. Any suggestions?
