Different accounts in different storage devices.

Different accounts in different storage devices.

I have a computer equipped with an HD and a SSD. I've already had downloaded e installed Dropbox in my computer's SSD unity. I would like to know if I can have one basic account linked to a Dropbox folder in the SSD unity and other basic account linked to a Dropbox folder in the HD unity. And how do I do that?

No, that's not possible. You can only have two Dropbox accounts linked to the same computer if one is a personal account and the other is a Business account and they've been connected.

Hi @ana77br, as @Rich said, it isn't possible to have two personal accounts connected to one another, in order to be able to have their files synced on different drives.

However, there is a workaround by having two different computer login profiles. On you main profile you have one Basic account on your C drive, and on the other profile, you can have the second account, with the Dropbox folder located in another drive.

You'll still need to login to each computer profile periodically in order to ensure that files sync across, since it won't happen if you're not logged into the profile.

If you need any more details, feel free to message back!
