Drop Box app can't connect on Big Sur afetr update

I've checked all my permissions and uninstalled and reinstalled the app.....

I can acess the online version and download rom there.....but it will not sync with my Mac.

 

Any suggestions welcomed

Hi @Phill C, welcome to the Dropbox Community! 

Could you please confirm whether the desktop app is already installed on your device or if you're having trouble downloading it?

If it's installed, can you let me know the app's syncing status and version? 

Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there.

The Application is installed on my Mac....but it won't open. I get this error message every time I boot up the Mac. It used to work fine until i upgraded to Big Sur.

All of those settings were already in place. I unchecked and re checked them......But no luck. Still the same error message after I rebooted.

 

Maybe I should uncheck them all. then do a restart then check them all again and do another reboot.

 

Something is going wrong.....but I can't work out why. It all works fine on my laptop......just not on my mac!!!

 

Let me know if you have any other suggestions

 still no Joy.  Not sure what I can do. I'll just have to run from my laptop and then copy to a drive and then move files to this mac....most annoying!!!
