DropBox Update failed with error 2

aside from run away disk I/O, first time I've had an issue.

DropBox said I wasn't up to date (odd, but maybe true). said, couldn't do anything 'til I updated.

so I ran an update - Client_120.4.4598 - download fine, install failed with an error 2

tried an off line install with internet off.

failed again same. Uninstalled DropBox, Deleted the Program 86 contents of the \DropBox folder
downloaded offline 120.4.4598, failed error 2 internet off and on.

downloaded Client_119.4.1772, failed error 2, internet on and off.

Help. I've used DropBox for years. Just want it back

curiously, I logged into dropBox.cpm

clicked on my avatar

clicked on Install DropBox app

and shortly thereafter _121.4.4267. showed up.

everything now seems to be working fine
