DropBox will not sync, open, uninstall or install Windows 10

Hi, we have had dropbox on our laptop for a year with no issues and just today it stopped working.  My documents folder gets no green checks and no documents are updating.  So, I tried opening the app and it will not open.  I tried from the windows menu as well as the desktop app.  So, I figured something must be wrong with the app so I attempted to uninstall it so I could reinstall it.  When I try to uninstall I get the error: The exception unknown software exception (0xe00f0003) occured in the application at location 0x00000007538AA12.  The uninstall fails and it will not uninstall. I then tried to just download again to see if I could get an app that would work and I also get an error. When I run the download I get the same exception error as I do when I try to uninstall.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, it would be much easier for us to have the app than to use the online functionality.  THANKS!

Can you try an Advanced Reinstall please to see if that helps?

Thank you, @Mark, I have attempted this with the same error results.  Unintall failed each attempt.  I have done reboots as well to attempt again, same results.  Thank you.

Hi there, are you still experiencing this issue with the Dropbox desktop application?
 
If so, is it the same error message, or any other behavior?
