After upgrading from El Capitan to High Sierra 10.13.6 noticed that dropbox icon and pulldown reports "synching" for days, even after all 1300 or so files were marked as green in sync. Have tried uninstalling; reinstalling; "view sync issues" is blank; sync is working as expected, i.e. no material impact on what I need dropbox for; just annoying that the app always reports itself as in state "synching" - Anyone else seen this?

Hey there @gillbe,
As a first step, could you please check if you're running the latest stable version of the desktop app (79.4.143) and send me a screenshot (without any personal info) of what you see when you hover over the Dropbox icon that's next to your computer's clock?
Thanks in advance!

The issue still exists for me, not resolved - but to be fair to Lusil and his team, I did not follow up as (i) it has no material impact on the dropbox functionality and (ii) I primarily use the affected device from within a corporate environment and did not want to expose that to any troubleshooting efforts.
Hey @gillbe, sorry to hear that you weren't able to resolve the issue.
If you do give the steps you haven't attempted yet a try and you still experience the same behavior, you can always contact our Support team due to account-specific info that may be necessary to continue looking into this for you.
In any case, let me know how it goes and don't hesitate to get back to me if you have any other questions.
