I would like help uninstalling dropbox from my device as it has been causing my Mac to lag significantly. This is my work laptop and I'm sure you can appreciate it, I would like to get this sorted out as soon as possible. Even after quitting the application in order to move to the bin, I am still met with an error message stating Dropbox is still open.
Help would be greatly appreciated.
Hey @Paradox, welcome to our Community and happy Friday!
Can you please try opening the 'Activity Monitor' utility on your computer, normally located under Applications > Utilities, to see if there are any other processes associated with Dropbox that may be preventing Dropbox from being removed from your device?
Once you have launched 'Activity Monitor', if you see any items that refer to Dropbox, or recognize any programs that you may have linked to Dropbox. Could you please perform the following steps?
Afterwards, please follow these steps to uninstall the desktop app from your computer.
Let me know how it goes!
