Dropbox Logfile error - C:\Users\Joe\AppData\Roaming\Dropbox\bin\Dropbox.exe.log

I've been having an issue with accessing my Desktop Dropbox. One day I switched on my computer and my Dropbox would not open and whenever I try, I'm told to 'See the logfile 'C:\Users\Joe\AppData\Roaming\Dropbox\bin\Dropbox.exe.log' for more details'

Whenever I try to do this through File Explorer on Windows 10, I'm given a notepad pop-up Notepad, with a lot of coding entries. I cannot uninstall Dropbox and have Unlinked my current laptop from my Dropbox.

Did you mean to include something more with your reply, or just quote the OP? If you're having the same issue, you need to see what it says in the log file. That will provide more information about whatever problem you're having. Copy/paste it here if you don't understand what it says.

There is nothing more to add and no information on this Dropbox Logfile error. I have it too and Dropbox is now locked.

Since August 29, 2016, the Dropbox desktop app no longer supports Windows XP. On this date, any Dropbox accounts linked to a Windows XP computers were signed out. You can sign in again once you update to Windows Vista or a later version of Windows.

I got the same error as mentioned above, and when I go to the log file following information is available, does anyone know what it means ?

As a first troubleshooting step, can you please go to www.dropbox.com/downloading and let the automatic installer download and install the Dropbox app on your computer?
