Dropbox app installed on wrong drive in our computer

Dropbox app installed on wrong drive in our computer

WE run dropbox on two computers, one died --We built anew computer with three drives, a SSD for the programs and two 4 TB data HHD drives ( the D drive ( our data drive) mirrors to the E drive). We did this so ALL our data would be on our local computer, the D drive ( and a second copy would be on our mirrored E drive).

Since the dropbox app automatically installed itself on our C drive, when we began downloading our files from our Dropbox Cloud, the data is going to the C drive. I am concerned if we delete dropbox on our C drive , that data will also be deleted in the dropbox cloud...NATUALLY we do not want this to happen.. We want to install the dropbox app on our D drive, so that the data will be stored there ( and a copy will be mirrored to our E drive in case the D drive ever failed.... Can you tell us the best way to proceed, can we drag dropbox file from our C drive to our D drive with all the files.... OR should we somehow uninstall drop box on our new computer C drive. And then ( with your help) direct us how we can download a NEW dropbox app to the D drive.......Please any help you can provide would be most appreicated.

If using Windows 10, go to All Settings, Apps, and find Dropbox in the apps list. You will see a Move tab which will show you a pull down of availble drive locations, for instance the D Drive. Select the drive you want to move Dropbox to and select Move. I tried it and it  moved the Dropbox from C: to D:. Good luck.
