Sometimes on my desktop Dropbox just stops working and the icon in the taskbar disappears. I have to restart the computer to restart the desktop app and it takes a long time, sometimes hours for Dropbox to start. The PC is running Windows 7.
Is there anything I can do to correct this?
I am having same problem. Im running win7 as well. The icon disappeared and i have to start program again..

The reinstallation does not resolve the problem. Please give us a solution.
PLEASE help with this issue! Reinstalling does NOT fix the disappearing icon and lack of syncing. I use Dropbox daily for work and it's messing me up.
