Dropbox app says unable to connect to Dropbox

“Unable to connect to dropbox.There may be a problem with your iPhones internet connection”

Someone just emailed me a link to a folder and when I click on it and it opens the app it says the above message. I know my Internet is working just fine and every other app email everything else is working normally. I have deleted and reinstalled the app and it still is not working and I need to have access to these files immediately.

Hey @Frustrated546, in order to have a better understanding of your concern, could you please further elaborate on the behavior by providing the following:

  • When you mention that you were sent a link to a folder, are you by any chance referring to the invitation email to add a shared folder to your account?
  • Could you also send me a screenshot (without any personal info) of the error message that you see? 

Any additional info would be very helpful. Thanks in advance!
