I am running dropbox on a headless server. The daemon keeps getting stuck on upgrading based on some missing package.
Once that package is installed it starts syncing again but gets stuck again next time due a different package. Where can I find comprehensive list of packages so this doesn't happen again. I am using Ubuntu 18.04.2 server.
Hi @Arya_ai, thanks for posting on the Community!
Currently there isn’t a full list of the packages needed to run the Dropbox desktop application on Linux.
What error message are you getting when running the headless installation?
Keep me posted!

Every time I get Importerror for some package. I have received errors for libatomic, libxdamage and libxfixes.
Currently its stuck on libxcb-glx.
Each time after installation, the daemon starts working again.
As far as I know, only libatomic (or libatomic1 depending on your flavor) might need to be installed, if the app doesn't run.

Yeah. I also found the same solution in most of the troubleshooting articles I searched. But for some reason it keeps on asking for more and more packages. Since my last reply it has asked for libxcb-dri2, libxcb-dri3 and libxcb-present.
