Hi,
I would like to uninstall Dropbox and install it again.
But there was something wrong with uninstall.
During uninstall, the message box "Dropbox failed to uninstall" appeared and the progress bar stopped.
I tried to use "C:\Program Files (x86)\Dropbox\Client\DropboxUninstaller.exe" as Administrator.
However, it didn't work.
I would appreciate if you help me.

Hi there @Kei4, I'd be more than happy to help.
To uninstall the desktop app, try following the steps outlined here.
However, please bear in mind that if you are on a Basic plan with more than three devices connected, you won't be able to install the desktop app on a new device. You can find more info about this here.
Let me know of any updates!

Hi Lusil,
Thank you for your quick reply!
I tried the steps you mentioned.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work.
I'll ask our IT department personnel if I can use Dropbox.

Hey @SushrutK, thanks for nudging us on this thread and sorry to hear that you're having trouble uninstalling the desktop app.
Just to make sure that we cover most initial troubleshooting, could you confirm if you've also checked out the additional steps that are listed a bit further down after clicking on your respective OS?
Keep me posted!

Hi, I've tried all of the extra steps (and then some found on reddit), and mine continues to fail to uninstall. I want to have it on my computer, and i currently have it linked only to my phone (after disconnecting it from my computer through the online portal).
Hey @michmins, thanks for nudging us here.
As a first step, could you send us a screenshot (without any personal info) of any error messages you get when you try to uninstall the app?
Keep us posted, cheers!
