Hello there, I am using Windows 10 machine. My boss shared to me his db account to make our files sync together. I had installed the latest Dropbox for s mode application but on the "Setting" tab I can't find any SYNC option that is supposed to be there. That is why until now still cant sync file.
I have attached a screenshot for you to look at.
Please, I need you help. THANKS

Hey @jminig,
If you're not seeing the Dropbox icon in your system tray near the clock display then the desktop app isn't running. The icon you see on your task bar must be the S mode Dropbox app, is that right?
It seems that maybe the app wasn't installed yet/correctly as there should be an option "Dropbox desktop app", can you click the option "DropboxInstaller.exe" to launch the installer?
Keep me posted - thanks!

Hey there @jminig,
The Dropbox app for S mode is different than the Dropbox desktop app that syncs your files to your computer. The S mode version is similar to the mobile version as the files won't be stored locally but you can still upload, view files etc. through this app.
The desktop app, which you can download directly from our website here, will sync your files to a Dropbox folder on your computer. This app will have the Sync tab that you're looking for.
I hope that clarifies the matter, let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi @Daphne, I appreciate your very quick response. I just followed the link you gave and installed the app several times but it appears as the same application and still wont show sync option.
Please see the attachment again.
Hey @jminig,
When you open the Start menu, can you try typing "Dropbox" to see if you can locate the desktop app instead of the S mode app?
If you've installed it, the app launches by default and you should be able to see the Dropbox icon in your system tray. Can you try clicking the ^ arrow near the clock display to expand the system tray, to see if the icon is there?
Let me know what you find - thanks!

Hi @ Daphne, this is all I can find on the start menu. Yes, I see the the db icon and the system tree and have tried to click the up and down arrow and it shows nothing.
