well unfortunately it has made no difference at all.
I contacted the helpline and was chatting with some lovely lady there she suggested to change some commands in the Terminal app and it also made no difference at all. This is incredibly disappointing I run my architectural practice using Dropbox to store my projects and as backup and it just stopped working. I cannot believe an app used by so many can just stop working and no one knows what to do.
At this point I am left with not knowing what all those changes to the Terminal app actually did and no hope for this to be resolved.

In this case, since the issue persisted after the advance reinstall, I would suggest to continue looking into this via our Support channel, as they have access to device specific info to aid the process.
