Dropbox refuses to install

Dropbox refuses to install

Helpful | Level 5

I've tried installing Dropbox through Chrome, Edge, and Firefox and it keeps saying my browser is not supported, then sends me to a page saying that it supports Chrome, Edge, and Firefox! I've looked into some conversations, and they're full of advanced information that is beyond my expertise. Is there a way to just get it to download?

Hi, Walter. It turns out that Firefox allowed Dropbox to download, and it's working fine. What happened when I used Edge or Chrome is that it would stop, then (ironically) it turned on Internet Explorer and informed me that it preferred Edge, Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. In my case, Firefox did work.

Hi @sfinlan; welcome to our Community and sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

Could you clarify your device's OS and send us a screenshot of the exact error you get so that we can have a visual too?

Thanks!
