Hi all -
We are using Dropbox to link files into Workfront across multiple projects. Is there any way to mark a file (with a tag, metadata, a color indicator, anything) in Dropbox (without altering the image itself) that will pass through to Workfront? It would have to be on the Dropbox side as the same image could be linked more than once.
Let me know if any of you have something figured out for this.
Thank you!
Angie
Hey there @angiel, thanks for reaching out to us here!
At the moment, there wouldn't be a feature within Dropbox itself that would achieve this for you I'm afraid.
If there was something that you could change in terms of the metadata of the file, this would need to be done perhaps from another app to edit the file in that way.
If you haven't already, it may be worth checking with Workfront on what kind of changes you could make to a files metadata that would show you the results you want when accessing the file through there.
Sorry that I can't be of much help with this, but do let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!
