Dropbox won't run suddenly, Win8.1

Noticed Dropbox wasn't running, so launched from Start Menu (Win 8.1), still nothing. Checked Task Manager and there were 2 copies using no resources. Rebooted and tried again. Checked it was still enabled under Start-Up, it is. Checked it's the latest stable version, it is. Re-downloaded it but it wouldn't install. Unistalled current copy (successful), tried to reinstall but it failed, just said it couldn't do it, no explanation. This is the limit of my technical ability, please can someone help me? Many thanks.

Could you try downloading the Advanced install from https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Desktop-client-builds/Stable-Build-50-4-71/m-p/277316#M4615 and see if that helps?

I just wanted to follow-up on this and see if you were able to check back to what @Mark suggested. Were you able to resolve your concern in the end? If you’re still facing some trouble with this, could you please provide us with a screenshot?
