ERROR MESSAGE "COULDNT STOP BACKUP"

IM TRYING TO STOP THIS DROPBOX BACKUP AND I GET AN ERROR MESSAGE SYAING COULDNT STOP BACK UP. HOW TO I STO THE BACK UP THEN. I DONT WANT THIS ON MY LAPTOP.

Hi @ninabug, thanks for joining the Community!

Could you try pausing the Dropbox desktop application first using these steps?

Afterwards, since it sounds like you've activated the computer backup feature, could you disable that using these steps?

Keep me updated with any progress!

Jay thank you for your help. Yes I’ve tried those steps and I get an error message stating that “ couldn’t stop backup”. I SignEd up with the business plan just so I could get a live representative to assist. She tried helping but had to escalate the issue. So now I’m just waiting.
