I got a new company computer and need to download the Dropbox app. Because my Dropbox now contains many, many company folders, its file size is way bigger than my total hard drive size. On my old computer, since the App was installed long ago, I was able to use Selective Sync to limit files on my computer before Dropbox grew so much in size. But now I am stuck. How can I download the Dropbox app when it will fill up my hard drive. I need to know EXACTLY what will happen if I try this. What I expect is that the hard drive will fill and I may not be able to do ANYTHING on my computer. Dropbox will crash, and I will be really stuck. The Dropbox app has always been a great convenience in using Dropbox but I dare not try to download it unless I know EXACTLY how to download the app without freezing Dropbox and my computer. So how do I download the app under these circumstances? Please give specific instructions. I am finding that many of the community experts assume the average Dropbox user, like me, knows much more about Dropbox than we do.
