Failed Network Error Using WooCommerce!

Hi,

I am using a website on Wordpress & WooCommerce.
On WooCommerce I paste the direct link (at the backend) which I generate from my dropbox which I make a force download link which ends on "=1" so people can click "Download" button (on the frontend) and get the file instantly.

However when I click on it to get downloaded I get an error " Failed Network Error " and the downloading proccess gets interrupted almost 90% of the time. This happens on every browser. If the link is used directly at the bar using any browser, it successfully downloads everything.

Where the problem should be and how come some of the attempts are successful?

What I could potentially suggest would be to perhaps make the downloadable content smaller so that you don’t run into the timeout issue. Perhaps splitting the download into 2 parts?
 
As you mentioned the download works fine through the direct link, maybe another work around would be to somehow present the link in a way that the recipient will directly open the link for downloading.
 
Unfortunately there isn’t much else I could suggest here as this would be an issue with the hosting provider rather than Dropbox.

Hey there @zlatarev,
 
Since you have tried using another browser, can you also just try using an incognito/private window too? If that still results in the same error, please try clearing your browser cache and trying the download again.

Actaully my hosting provider reported they have found the problem:

As the file from Dropbox is 10 GB in size the download times out as the timeout limit for the LSAPI Apache module is exceeded.

Due to that nature of the shared hosting environment, this limit cannot be increased.

Additionally, as the archive which is downloaded via your website on our server is 10 GB in size each download of that file will generate a large amount of bandwidth. " 

Any idea how to make it so I don't use my hosting provider bandwidth but use Dropbox's instead?
Plugin or any solution is much appreciated!
