Files app and Dropbox offline files

Explorer | Level 3

Hello. I am now using an iPad with last iPad os. I want to use files app cause it works best for my needs. I am trying to download my actual working dropbox folders but nothing happens. I can have the folder content offline using dropbox app but it doesn't work on files app. Any clues? Thanks.

Hey @Jloskin! Great question.

Your Offline Dropbox files do not show in your Files app.

How to add Dropbox to the Files app on Your iPhone or iPad

Let me know if this worked for you!

Have a lovely day.

Thanks Fiona. I think I have to use the dropbox app not files app for my needs.

Right now Files is very limited on what you can do with dropbox.

My mail problem with the dropbox app is how it integrates with apps... IE if have to work on as keynote project I cannot just click and go... like I can I in Files.

My original problem with Files was when I select to downloads a folder (yo have the offline content on my iPad) it didn't work.  I will look on others File Browsers as an alternative.

Thanks!
