It does sound like your antivirus was blocking the desktop app from syncing correctly, in which case, you can add Dropbox to its whitelist.
Let me know if this helps, @veromarsal!

Hi @JanBows, thanks for joining the Community!
If you're not on a Dropbox Basic plan with more than 3 devices connected, could you try an advanced reinstall of the app using the steps in this link?
Let me know how it goes!

Hello,
I have the same problem. The thing is that I don't have more than 3 devices connected. I only have my telephone and my PC (wich I can't connect I can’t connect because of this system error).
How can I solved this?
Normally I have (or should have) only two devices connected, and we can say 3 devices if we count the Web
Please help!

Hello again!
I would like to tell you that I "solved" the problem.
I turned off my Avast and the Dropbox have started without problem.
After the Dropbox started, I turned on the Avast and all works perfectly.
Anyway, every time I want to synchronize files I have to turn off my Avast.
I think this is not really "solved" (or maybe yes ha-ha). I think that the Avast was blocking something of Dropbox
I cant find the file .txt of my error.
I wait your anwers anyway because I don't know if we can say that I solved the problem
Saludos!
