I wanted to add a folder on my NAS to be synced with dropbox. However dropbox will not accept a folder on network system.
Currently i have the free version. Is this possible ?? or do I need to upgrade to a PRO account or something like that.
Hey @Wembley, thanks for reaching out to us here!
NAS systems are not a supported location for the desktop app I'm afraid, regardless of your Dropbox plan. You can check out a little more info about this here.
Also, to sync folders to your account they will need to be located within the Dropbox folder as the desktop app can't sync folders outside of the Dropbox folder itself.
I hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions!
