How can I move my Dropbox folder onto another drive?

Hello, my windows is on a C drive and my second disk ( D drive) contains my Dropbox. I want to replace my D rive into a n SSD disk. How do I need to handle this?

If you're going to replace the 😧 with the SSD, after essentially cloning the drive, then it should be possible.

After the SSD has all the data from the D:, let's say it's E: for now, then when you turn the computer off and disconnect the old D:, the SSD should now be the 😧 itself. This might need to be configured in the computer itself.

If this is the case, then it should sync normally after the change.

Are you going to replace the D drive itself with an SSD, and clone the data on the D drive onto it?

Or, are you going to create a new drive on your machine and move the folder there?

Hi Jay,

Yes, I want to replace the D drive but I am not sure if Dropbox is still working iwhen I copy all the data before to the new SSD drive. I think Dropbox won’t accept the current Dropbox folder for synchronization when it is copied to another drive. We have more then 1.3 TB on data.
