I have just downloaded the DropBox App for Windows 10 and wish to have the DB directory on my data 😧 drive (which is a partition of my main drive). The DB Help says:
My problem is that the latest version of the App does not show a gear icon anywhere. The Help appears to cater for an older version of the App, without the ribbon toolbar.
Any suggestions, please?

Thanks, Mark, for your speedy reply.
I uninstalled Dropbox and reinstalled it using your link and continue to have exactly the same problem. The installation continues to use the Dropbox directory made last time under C:\Users\name\dropbox where it is keeping the files I have sent to DB. I want to use D:\Dropbox or similar for these files.
The App that has opened seems to be a full version of DB, but has a much more modern look than those shown in the videos on line, i.e. it has an MS Office style of ribbon which open from the File-Menu-Share-View tabs. There is no gear icon nor anything I can see to access Preferences.
I tried to paste in a screen shot, but this didn't work.

Thanks very much. This reinstalled DB and put the necessary icon in my System tray so I could do the change of directory.
