How can I remove a defective computer form my account?

I just got a new mac to replace a defective one. I cannot access drop box on the new machine because it says I am limited to three users (I am using dropbox to share with 2 others). How do I 'disconnect' my old mac when it is defective and a problem to get running?

Hi @duckster, thanks for taking the time to message us!

 

It sounds like you're at the limit of 3 devices on your Dropbox Basic plan. You can remove your defective machine from the Dropbox site, which would free up a device.

 

After that, you should be able to install the Dropbox desktop application on your new Mac. I hope this helps to resolve your issue!
