How can I switch Dropbox accounts on my Macbook Air?

How can I switch Dropbox accounts on my Macbook Air?

I need to switch accounts on a MacBook Air to download some files but there is no option to sign out, unlink or make any changes whatsoever.

Can someone please provide me with the CORRECT instruction on how to do this, even if it means I have to delete the app and then reinstall it.

Hi @mdrankin; welcome to the Community and happy Monday!

If you need to log out from your account on the website, you can click on your avatar, i.e. your account's profile picture (or smiley face) and then click on the relevant option.

Should you need to unlink your account from the desktop app to link the other one, you can do it through the app's preferences

That said, since you'd only need to download some files from the other account, I'd suggest using an incognito window to log into that account and download the files you wanted as it would be the quickest way to achieve the task at hand.

In any case, please keep me posted!
