How can I turn off the automatic camera uploads when I plug in my phone to my computer?

How can I turn off the automatic camera uploads when I plug in my phone to my computer?

New member | Level 2

Whenever i plug in my phone to my laptop it automatically uploads all the photos to dropbox. I don't want this. How do I turn this off?

Hey there @Natuurlijkwinte,
 
You can disable the automatic camera uploads for your photos from your phone when connecting to your computer through the preferences of the desktop app. The steps to do this are listed below:
 
  1. Click the Dropbox icon on your system tray/menu bar.
  2. Click the gear icon in the top right.
  3. Choose Preferences from the menu.
  4. Click the Import tab.
  5. Uncheck the box next to Enable camera uploads for”.
