Hello world,

I have one account dropbox, and I need to use it in two session in windows. I tried to move dropbox folder in C: but when I want to select this in the other session, I have an error message "impossible de créer un dossier à l'emplacement demandé".

Thanks

Hello there @LoreSch, thanks for reaching out to us here today!

Unfortunately, what you're trying to achieve here isn't currently supported.

Since different user profiles are seen by Dropbox as different "devices" (due to different permissions etc), you'll need to install the desktop app again on the second user profile. Once installed, you can sign into your account again there. However, you won't be able to link this to the Dropbox folder used on the other user profile.

I hope this clarifies the situation a bit better, let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks!
