How do I access the Dropbox file browser?

How do I access the Dropbox file browser?

Helpful | Level 6

I reinstalled Dropbox today for troubleshooting purposes. I then reinstalled it, but there’s a missing component: the file browser.

I remember when I install DB the first time, it had the usual tray icon, but it also came with a local browser app that looked and behaved just the one you’d use in a browser. In fact, there was some blurb during the installation that the new DB app is just like DB on the web, but it’s an actual app on my system.

Now, with the new installation the file browser is gone. Is there a special version of the installer that comes with the native file browser?

Hi @Sereby, thanks for posting on the Community!

When you install the Dropbox desktop application, you should have it enabled by default.

If not, you can choose to open the file browser instead of Explorer/Finder using the steps here.

Hope this helps!
