How do I stop noisy marketing garbage in my notifications feed?

I'm never, ever, ever going to care about advertisting crap like this; how can I make it stop? As is, the feed is basically useless b/c of them.

Hello @chetman, I hope you're having a good day so far!

While there isn't currently a setting to prevent these notifications, they can be dismissed to no longer appear in the notifications tab.

To do this, please hover over the entry and click the "..." that appears in the top right and choose "Dismiss".

That's not an answer. 

This is the equivalent of a spammer saying "We're going to keep spamming you, but you can just delete them! Isn't that great?"

It's gross behavior, and you guys are no longer the only trustworthy game in town on file sync and storage.
