How to: Sync Dropbox to /mnt/raid5/Dropbox CentOS7

Helpful | Level 6

Managed to get dropbox installed on CentOS7 finally.

However, I need Dropbox to sync to

/mnt/raid5/Dropbox
. There is no option for me to select /mnt/raid5Dropbox.  I can only select directories in the / directory.  I tried putting /mnt/raid5/Dropbox in the Directory field and pressed enter but got "Directory not found"

Any ideas here?

The solution was quite simple actually. I removed the original Dropbox location with rm -rf /home/orca/Dropbox then made a sysmlink to the raid5 ln -s /home/orca/Dropbox/mnt/raid5/Dropbox and now 1TB of data is storing to where I want it too

Hi there @powerhouse, thanks for reaching out to us.

In general, your device and hard drive must meet at least the essential requirements to successfully install and run the desktop app headlessly.

Could you double-check that and let me know what you find?

Cheers!
