How to remove sync on a Lap

I already Installed Dropbox on a laptop and the program synchronize the entire laptop hard drive (documents, download etc), although I have tried to remove the folder where the laptop's hard drive is, I have not succeeded, can someone tell me how to solve it? Thank you !

If you don't want to continue using computer backup, you can turn it off by following the steps mentioned, here. 

During that process, you'll be given the option to move your files back to where they were originally.
