I have the following problem and couldn´t find anything on google and was unable to reach out to the support directly (unfortunately)..
I installed DropBox a few days ago and missclicked on the button where it saves all my files to drop box instead of those from my university only.. Now it says that my storage capability is reached and I have several data in the box which I don´t want there. I was trying to find a way to set up my SYNC in a different way so that only my university files are beeing synced.
Can somebody tell me how I can stop the SYNC on all files and just Sync the one folde I need to? And in the next step how I can delete my files in the dropbox without deleting them from my computer (which already happened)?
I followed the steps on the article, but unfortunately I do not have an option "back up" at my settings..
I need another solution as soon as possible, because I have to use DropBox for university projects which is impossible due to a lack of storage which is caused by the sync of all documents of the pc... I paused the sync and am trying desperatly since days to solve it, but unfortunately it seems not possible..
I have the same symptoms. No matter how much I look, I can't find the Backup tab and the backup management options. The situation is too serious and difficult. How can I turn off the synchronization of the three folders? Give me a quick answer. If you have a backup tab for a previous version of the desktop program, please tell me the version number and how I can download it. Very urgent.
