I can no longer access the menu from the Dropbox icon to apply selective sync, any help?

The dropbox icon in my tool bar no longer gives me the option to bring up preferences and do a selective sync.  Any ideas what might have happened or how I fix it?

Welcome to the Dropbox Community @rachelsolo!

When you click on the Dropbox icon in your menu bar/system tray, do you still see the small window showing your recent activity and notifications? In the top right corner of this window you should see a profile picture icon or an icon with your initials (if you haven't added an image to your account profile) which replaced the gear icon.

If you don't see this then please send along a screenshot (excluding any personal info) of what you do see when you click the Dropbox icon.

Let me know what you find and we'll go from there - thanks!
