I couldn't start Dropbox due to an "[Errno 2] No such file or directory" error

I have had this issue for the past week on my Mac after Dropbox was working perfectly fine on this machine. I'm running Catalina 10.15.4 and below is the error I'm getting. I really need to gett this sorted asap. Can someone please get back to me soon. Cheers Aaronbn.

As a first step, could you try an advanced reinstall of the desktop app?

Unable to access Dropbox

When I try to access Dropbox I get a message saying "Couldn't start Dropbox.  This is usually because of a permissions error".  It also said to contact Dropbox support with a link to some code for help.  There doesn't seem to be any way of contacting Dropbox support.  This is highly frustrating.

Hi @Jaquie D, I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with this!

Can you send me a screenshot of the error?

Also, if there is a blue hyperlink for the full error log, please also copy paste the full log from there as that info is very helpful in finding the root cause of the issue.

Thanks for that info @!

Can you try out Lusil's suggestion here to see if that does the trick?

Please just bear in mind the 3 device limit if you're currently using a Basic account, and have more than 3 devices connected.

Thanks Daphne - I had already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Dropbox, I just needed to do the reboot and it worked!
