I like the app. hate the interface. I can't see the full file names. It is hard to navigate the file structure. It is clunky, slow and counter intuitive. I want to be able to see and drag/drop between different parts of the file /folder structure easily and intuitively.
Hi @wirdway, thanks for posting!
We value user input immensely and your feedback has been noted. Could you clarify if this is for the Dropbox site, desktop app, new desktop app, or mobile app?
Keep us posted!

I mean the online interface accessible through the web. With all this nonsense. I have to tick a check box and then click an 'eye' icon to see what is inside a folder....I want to be able to see the whole tree and move stuff around, tidy, rationalise at will. It's awful
Thanks for the info, I’ve amended the images as per Community Guidelines for your own privacy.
Regarding your observation, you can click the actual folder name once to open the folder itself and view the files inside it, without having to do the extra steps you’re doing currently.

That still doesn't address what the OP wants though. They're looking for a file tree, similar to Explorer or Finder where you can expand and collaspe folders and see the content within, without having to navigate into a folder and not being able to see the rest of the structure above.
The web interface really is horrible, and has been for a long time.
Thanks for the clarification, @Rich. I’ve added this feedback to the system.

Here are my issues with the interface:
It wastes so much space of the interface, makes it very hard to see long file names, cannot be adjusted, and requires many clicks to share or unshare a document.
The left hand panel (HOME, FILE, SHARED, FILE REQUESTS, DELETED FILES) takes up 15% of the screen and only those four words , which are a tiny portion of that are ever needed.
The right hand pane (Select a file to see more details) takes up another 20% of the width of the screen and it too is full of a lot of empty space. As it is, I can only see long file names if I select a whole file and glance at the preview. But what if I want to select and share three files? The preview just says "three files selected." That is not useful.
Can you make the width of each pane collapsable or adjustable? Or combine them into one pane, so I would have enough width to read file name? The most important part of dropbox is the files. The interface makes reading what file you even have harder than it should be.
I so wish it was possible to share or unshare with multiple people at once and to share AND unshare in the same action. As it is, every sharing or removing requires two clicks each. I'm a teacher sharing docs and then unsharing docs with a dozen kids. That makes this tedious.
Please make the interface more usable.
Thanks
Thanks for the feedback, @Bucky-is-eating-cheerios, feel free to suggest those ideas at the link I provided in my previous message.
