I downgraded my account and unlinked PCs but now need to restore to recover corrupted files

New member | Level 2

Hi - I unlinked all my PCs and downgraded my account to a personal account but this week I discover I have corrupted video files on a local PC hard drive - the originals on the Dropbox account were not corrupt.  Can I restore the old business account file structure to restore my faulty files even when there are no linked computers? The new personal account I have does not have a file history.

I was the administrator - please advise if/how I can restore an old account with no linked computers

Thank you

Hello @dandayrob - welcome to the Dropbox Community!

As you're now accessing a new, personal account it's normal that you don't have any file history.

Do you have access to the email address you used for the business account you were the admin of?

If you do, please go ahead and log a ticket with our Support team to discuss your options at the moment: https:confused face:/www.dropbox.com/support

If there's anything I can do in the meantime, please let me know Dan!
