I have some duplicated files. Any ideas?

Why is DROPBOX duplicating files??

Two likely explanations.

  1. Conflicted copies, see: https://www.dropbox.com/help/36

  2. You have a Samsung mobile device connected.

There's a known bug in Samsung's Connect software.

Solution: Unlink the Samsung Connect software from Dropbox.

  2. You have a Samsung mobile device connected.

There's a known bug in Samsung's Connect software.

Solution: Unlink the Samsung Connect software from Dropbox.

Thank you Robert S... Hope they will resolve the problem.
I have Dropbox running on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S, Samsung S4 Active mobile phone, LapTop and PC

I will disable the Tab S and see if that will help.

How does one UNLINK the Samsung connect software from Dropbox? I am not able to remove Dropbox from the Samsung device.

I'm working from distant memory and the exact steps may vary between devices, but I believe it's something like...

Settings > Accounts > Cloud > Link with Dropbox
