Ho everybody. I've been using Dropbox for many years, very happy about it. This morning I installed the Dropbox APP on my new device (Nokia 5.1 Plus, with Android 10). Downloaded from the the play store, tried to login, but I cannot do anything else, being stuck at a page with a cat drawing saying that I need an internet connection to upgrade my account. I'm connected using WiFi, trying to switch it off and using mobile data didn't resolve. I have a free account and don't want to upgrade. How can I solve?
Hi @Lusil, thanks for the reply. Yes, I think that this was the problem. Maybe connected to authorization. I checked my email some time after posting and found many mails from Dropbox asking to authorize a new device. I authorized but forgot to check Dropbox APP again. Checked some time ago, I was able to enter into the app and found a notification about the maximum number of devices allowed. Checking out my old phone, everything was fixed and I was able to normally use the app.
