I installed the Dropbox app on Android but it's not letting me sign in

Ho everybody.
I've been using Dropbox for many years, very happy about it.
This morning I installed the Dropbox APP on my new device (Nokia 5.1 Plus, with Android 10). Downloaded from the the play store, tried to login, but I cannot do anything else, being stuck at a page with a cat drawing saying that I need an internet connection to upgrade my account. I'm connected using WiFi, trying to switch it off and using mobile data didn't resolve. I have a free account and don't want to upgrade.
How can I solve?

Hey @siraph, let's see what we can find on this together. 

 

Have you checked how many devices you currently have connected to your account from the Security tab

 

If you find that you have three already linked, could you let me know the sort of account that you're on?

 

You can see that by going to your Plan tab.

Hi @Lusil, thanks for the reply.
Yes, I think that this was the problem.
Maybe connected to authorization.
I checked my email some time after posting and found many mails from Dropbox asking to authorize a new device. I authorized but forgot to check Dropbox APP again.
Checked some time ago, I was able to enter into the app and found a notification about the maximum number of devices allowed. Checking out my old phone, everything was fixed and I was able to normally use the app.
