I'm facing an issue with corrupted files in shared folders after re-installing Windows.

I had a problem with windows update and had to re-install windows. I kept my folders, the problem here is that everytime I try to sync , currupted copies spring up on my shared folders. What can I do?

Folders in my computer show a grey small icon * not the green checkmark.

thank you

Hey there (@dvdbntz611), if I were in your shoes, I’d first check whether the files were corrupted or renamed by ransomware in the first place. From there, as you’re describing files with a small gray icon, I’m wondering if you’re seeing Selective Sync conflicts by any chance- I’d appreciate it if you could clarify whether this applies to what you’re describing.

If it’s not too much trouble for you, could you include a screenshot (omitting personal info) of what this looks like on your end in your next reply here, so as to get a better idea of the issue at hand?

Once I have these details, I’ll try to address your initial inquiry in a bit more depth. Thanks in advance for the time you’re devoting to gather this info for me & I’ll be awaiting your next message on this discussion!
