synched to a laptop for file sharing

Thanks for responding. I decided to uninstall the application and reinstall it from the dropbox website. It's loading OK now.

I'm sorry to hear you're getting an error when trying to start the desktop app on your computer and I'd like to look into this for you.
There should be a blue hyperlink within the error message pop-up you get so can you click on it and forward me the whole error log so I can get a visual too?
