I'm having issues with Dropbox freezing up constantly

Is anyone else experiencing issues with Dropbox after the new version was installed? Mine "freezes up" most of the time and is always selecting a different file than the one I'm clicking on. I don't have this issue with anything else on my computer - the problems are confined to Dropbox.  In my opinion, the new version is bulky and quirky - I just want to save my files and have them backed up.

Hi there @Val Shelton, I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with this!

 

So I can have a better understanding of your current set up, can you let me know which version of the desktop app you have installed?

 

Also, are you referring to the new desktop app interface that is freezing up, or is it the Dropbox folder from your Finder/File Explorer window?
