I'm receiving an error message when trying to open the desktop app, any ideas?

Morning all,

I have just started to get the  error in the below image on startup of my computer or any time I try to run the Dropbox program on my Surface Pro.Dropbox error msg.PNG

I have no issues accessing my web based account.

Any ideas how to resolve easily without resyncing all my data as I have close to 750Gb of data....

Just to note...

While you won't have to download all of your files again with an uninstall/reinstall, it will result in a re-index of all your files which will take a while, especially with a lot of data. There's no way around that.

Hey there @RuicFire,

Have you tried uninstalling the desktop app and reinstalling it again? Perhaps you could try using the offline installer which you can find from here

Let me know if this helps - Thanks!
