I'm stuck at syncing and I'm using Boxifier as well. Do you have any ideas?

Hello, everyone. It’s been two days my Dropbox status has changed to the two arrows with a blue circle saying Syncing, and it is stuck in that forever.

There is no number of files being shown (as it is usually the case with syncing) and there is no single file that becomes "green" (even the smallest ones, from where Dropbox starts syncing). It is as if it is indexing the files, but nothing happens (and everything was normal two days ago).

I’m using Boxifier, although I don’t think this is the problem, since no updated were installed and, as I said, everything was fine.

What can I do?

Hello,

Razvan here, one of the founders of Boxifier. We are aware of a current incompatibility between Dropbox and Boxifier that affects Dropbox users with a specific Dropbox account configuration. The team is working on adding support for this new Dropbox account configuration. The fix for this will be released as an update for the Boxifier application and pushed to Boxifier users via the update channel.

Hello,

Is the problem occurring whilst not using Boxifier or only when the app is being used as well? If so, uninstall the app until the team behind it is still finding a way to fix it or, like me, just ignore it and make sure to take a look at any new folder upload being properly uploaded and ignore it.

It is happening even without the app running. I will wait for Boxifier’s solution, as mentioned by Razvan... thanks!
